Montessori Curriculum: Cultural Area

Montessori Cultural Studies Provide Exposure to Science and Geography

For example, the children develop an initial understanding of the many life forms around the world.

They learn the difference between living and non-living things, and a more in-depth study of vertebrates and invertebrates.

The children learn fun facts about spiders and insects, and understand more about the relationship of different creatures to each other in nature.

In addition, we explore the planets, constellations, and the solar system. We end our discovery of the solar system with a field trip to a planetarium.

Even more, they also learn about geography including continents, countries, their cultures, traditions, and landmarks.
